Resources for Students

American Indian Tribal Planning Classes, June 23-26; July 7-10. The 27th Annual EWU Summer Institute for Tribal Planning invites planning students from around the country to participate in two unique classes on American Indian tribal planning, PLAN 523 American Indian Tribal Planning and PLAN 534 American Indian Tribal Transportation. Classes are taught by our tribal planning faculty along with elected tribal leaders and staff, and include a charrette project on a nearby reservation. These classes are offered as part of our PAB accredited MURP program and our Executive Tribal Planning Certificate. Lodging is available adjoining our EWU Spokane campus and students can arrange additional coursework between class sessions if interested. Students must complete additional readings and assignments for each class by the end of Summer Quarter, August 15, and participate in a final virtual class session on August 14.
