Conference Organizers are looking for Student Volunteers for ACSP2024 SeattleUPDATE (9/3/24): All student positions have been filled and the application process is now closed. If you are on the waiting list, we will be in touch if an opening becomes available. Application Deadline: August 31
Are you reliable, enthusiastic and willing to work? The ACSP has a very small professional staff. The conference requires nearly 300 hours of service provided by student volunteers in order to be successful. Doctoral candidates interested in working for the ACSP in order to offset the cost of a basic conference registration are encouraged to apply. STUDENTS MUST: 1. Be from an ACSP Member School: Check Here > and 2. Hold a Current ACSP Student Membership: Join Here > Don’t worry if you’ve already registered for the conference, just let us know in your application. Students benefit by being able to listen in on sessions and meeting faculty and other students in planning academia. Tasks for students aren't stressful or overly demanding, but do require your sincerity, focused attention, commitment and large smiles. The ACSP volunteer coordinator will work with students to schedule tasks and assignments around the most important student events/sessions of the conference (especially their own presentation!) Tasks and responsibilities are varied and students must work 8 hours (two 4-hour shifts) to earn a basic registration package. Scroll below for application information. Apply before all time slots are gone!
