APA Foundation: Input Requested on the FutureShape Survey
Friday, May 10, 2019
No research agenda currently exists for the planning profession. Recognizing the need to equip planners with evidence-based tools to address the challenges facing communities, the APA Foundation launched a research initiative, FutureShape. FutureShape will collaboratively produce a research agenda for the planning profession, to be used by funders, researchers and others as a guide to prioritize research activities worldwide.
Over the past nine months, experts in planning and allied professions, academics, and other thought leaders have been developing and discussing the research problem statements of today and tomorrow.
This effort needs the input of planners and allied professionals to result in a robust and representative agenda. I invite you to consider sharing the FutureShape prioritization survey with your readers, members and constituents. The survey takes only 7 to 10 minutes and will be available through May 15, 2019.
