Fine-Tune Your Resume for Free!
As an ACSP member, you can upload your resume to the ACSP Career Center on jobs.acsp.org, making it visible to one of the largest potential employers job pool worldwide.
Log on to the Career Center (same login credentials as your ACSP website profile), upload your resume, and be sure to take advantage of the free resume evaluation service ... another service offered to ACSP members!
Once you're logged in, go to Manage Resumes under the Job Seekers dropdown menu. There you will find three ways to create your resume:
- Upload Resume File: Import a PDF version of your resume. We recommend uploading an unformatted file with all content left justified for the cleanest translation into the online form fields. Because you may not have the exact same fields as the online form, you will need to review the imported information and update where necessary.
- Build Resume Online: Manually enter your information in each section.
- LinkedIn: Import your LinkedIn profile. You will be required to sign in to your LinkedIn account. Please note, LinkedIn does not have exactly the same fields as the online resume form, so you will need to review the imported information and update where necessary.
Ensure your resume is complete by filling in each section. Go through the auto-populated fields to make sure everything uploaded the way you want it to appear in the system. If you're a member of a special interest group (FWIG, GPEIG, POCIG), be sure you check the appropriate box(es) under the Details section while you're creating your resume.
Employers will find your resume using the information you enter. The more information you fill in, the more searchable your resume becomes.
You can publish your resume to our Resume Bank so employers can find you! To do so, be sure to check the "Make my resume public and searchable by employers." button before you click the Save My Resume button. Or keep it private and use it when applying online for jobs.
Once you have a resume created and saved in our system, select Yes to the "Submit my resume for a free evaluation from a trusted resume expert at TopResume" question. A pop-up window will appear stating "Your free professional resume review is provided in partnership with: TopResume. You will receive email confirmation from your personal resume expert shortly." Click the Evaluate My Resume button.
