ACSP Value Statement Focus Groups Complete – What’s Next?

Thank you to everyone who took the time to participate in the 12 focus groups that ACSP has conducted over the past two months. We have gathered invaluable input from our members that will greatly enhance the forthcoming ACSP Values Statement.

While ACSP has a mission, we have not previously created an expression of our values. In the spirit of good planning practice, we have created an engagement process that encourages members to share their input on the values that should define our organization and the ways that we can collaborate to advance these values through our work.

Now that the focus groups have been completed, ACSP will create an on-line survey to give members an additional opportunity to participate. Watch the ACSP website and weekly Tuesday eNewsletter for details on the upcoming member survey.

When complete, the ACSP statement will express the values that define our organization and our work as educators and researchers. We hope that the values statement can provide a point of reference to inform statements by our organization on key issues impacting urban and regional planning education and research, as well as provide a foundation for ACSP's efforts to support our individual and school members.

We look forward to hearing from you!
