Abstract Submission Deadline Extension
If you’ve already submitted your abstracts for ACSP2019 – thank you and congratulations! Author notifications will be sent out the last week of May.
This decision to extend the deadline was made, in part, due to email delivery issues preceding today’s original deadline. Over the past several weeks, ACSP’s mass email service has been working diligently to correct this issue. Unfortunately, this technical issue happened at the height of our efforts to communicate the abstract submission information for #ACSP2019. With the eNews Weekly being our primary method of communication, we want to ensure that everyone who is interested in submitting an abstract receives the necessary information and has adequate time to submit.
The extended deadline is now Friday, March 29, 2019, 5:00pm Eastern Daylight Savings Time.
A note from the local host committee co-chairs Eric A. Morris and Caitlin Dyckman, Clemson University:
Join us next year in Greenville SC for the 59th ACSP Annual Conference. Explore Greenville, which has made a dramatic transition from an economically challenged textile town to one of America’s best-planned, attractive, lively, and livable small cities, as recognized by Conde Nast Traveler, Travelzoo, Travel & Leisure, The New York Times, PBS’ News Hour, and many other national media outlets. Together, government, private local and international businesses, and an active, committed community have remade Greenville into a national destination and leader in terms of walkability, downtown redevelopment and revitalization, the arts, parks, the local food scene, environmental restoration, economic development, and much more. Faculty and students from Clemson, as well as community leaders, will share lessons on how a small American city has been creatively harnessing and relying on the power of urban planning to transform its built environment, its natural setting, and its economic outlook while sustaining its historic character. We look forward to offering you a little Southern hospitality in Greenville next year!
