Most people greet her when they see her at the conference, “Hey!!! You’re email@example.com!!!!! I get mail from you all the time!” As a long-time staffer of ACSP, Portland will be her 17th conference.
Plans and manages conference logistics and conference food and beverage services, ACSP receptions, special events, book fair, audio visual services, and student volunteers. She is a wife and mother of three middle schoolers and this is her 7th conference with ACSP but her 30th year of conference planning and attending!
Conference assistant, formerly with the DURP at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, ACSP inherited when she retired from UIUC. She continues to come to ACSP conferences to herd the urban planning conference cats! This will be her ninth conference.
Mary Beth Buchanan
Executive Assistant for Career Center and membership, and Conference Concierge for receptions, interview and informational session space, and more. She is one you can count on in a crisis; running in circles asking "What do we do? What do we do?!?!" She is the mother of two, and this will be her second conference.
