Summary of Minutes

 

The Executive Committee:

· approved the minutes of the ACSP Executive Committee Meeting in Seattle, April 23, 1999;

· approved the Bursar's report;

· approved the hiring of the accounting firm Purvis, Gray & Company to conduct ACSP's financial review;

· appointed Johanna Looye to serve as Regional Representative replacing Cheryl Contant;

· agreed to explore alternative sources of funding of ACSP activities;

· agreed to establish a committee that would explore the logistics of holding a summer Ph.D. student workshop;

· agreed to using on-line submissions for abstracts for the 2000 ACSP conference and the introduction of a $25 submission fee;

· approved the selection of new JPER Editors; Michael Hibbard and Edward Weeks from the University of Oregon;

· approved and clarified the student awards criteria;

· approved new language on Diversity for the PAB accreditation document.
