QUALIFICATIONS: Masters degree in Urban and Regional Planning or related fields. Applicants must demonstrate broad teaching potential. Ph.D. preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES: This is a position primarily geared toward teaching a wide range of courses in the Urban and Regional Planning curriculum at both the graduate and undergraduate level. Teaching versatility is of utmost importance as there is an expectation that this individual will be able to fill gaps in our teaching sequence on an as needed basis. Our emerging gaps for next year are in the fields of Urban Transportation, Economic Development, Research Methods for Planning and Development, Visual communications and GIS.
The successful candidate is expected to teach a full load (3 to 5 courses), and contribute to the overall efforts of the School and University. Primary teaching responsibilities will be in the Urban and Regional Planning Program, however, the potential to crossover to other SPDC disciplines is desirable.
