The School of City and Regional Planning (SCaRP) at Georgia Tech invites applications for two tenure track nine-month positions with expected start dates of August 2013, one in transportation planning; a second in economic and/or community development.
Assistant Professor: Economic and/or Community Development. We seek candidates who will contribute to the teaching of our core courses as well as expand course offerings in economic and community development (some possibilities are workforce development, neighborhood economic development, minority and small business development, economic justice, and economic resiliency). The successful candidate will be expected to maintain an active research program leading to significant contribution to the advancement of the field.
A doctorate in planning, or a related field is required. A prior professional degree or practice experience in planning may alternatively demonstrate commitment to the field. Candidates must show promise of significant scholarship.
