The Catholic University of America has the oldest and largest school of architecture in the Washington metropolitan region. The school is recognized for high quality design balancing theory and practice, as well as for its long-standing ties to the professional community. Our strong design culture and creative community spirit attract a local, national, and international faculty and student body. The school offers the preprofessional Bachelor of Science in Architecture. Its graduate programs include the accredited Master of Architecture and a postprofessional Master of Architectural Studies; two new graduate programs, the Master of Science in Sustainable Design and the Master of City and Regional Planning, add to the traditional offerings of the school.
