University of Illinois at Chicago's Department of Urban Planning and Policy Abstract Deadline 2/20!

University of Illinois at Chicago's Department of Urban Planning and Policy will be hosting an international conference on participatory planning Sept 24-26, 2018. This conference is jointly organized with colleagues at Hochschule Luzerne Social Work program and supported by UIC College of Urban Planning and Public Affairs.

The aim is to bring a diverse, international and interdisciplinary group of 100-125 academics and practitioners for 3 days to discuss and debate what participation means and the many ways we can make it happen.

Yasminah Beebeejaun, Bartlett School of Planning at University College London and editor of Participatory City (2016 Jovis) will be our keynote speaker.
