New Orleans | April 21-24, 2018

Help shape the education program for next year's conference in New Orleans.

The National Planning Conference Committee invites APA members to play an important role in NPC18 development by reviewing session proposals. Peer review is a crucial step in building a quality conference and APA seeks to select only the highest-quality proposals for inclusion into NPC18's educational program.

Proposal Reviewers will evaluate session proposals to ensure that sessions chosen for the NPC18 program reflect innovation and diversity in planning research, practice, education, and professional development.

Each Proposal Reviewer will serve a term that begins in July 2017 and ends on May 1, 2018. APA will notify members accepted as reviewers in July and distribute sessions to be reviewed no later than Tuesday, September 5. Reviews of assigned proposals must be completed in APA's online system no later than noon (CT) on Tuesday, September 26. Volunteers should expect to spend 6-8 hours reviewing and scoring proposals.

AICP members may use the self-report option to claim CM credit for this pro bono planning service.
