Department of Urban Planning

Tenured-Track Position

Tenure-track position available August 22, 2008.  Major responsibility: teaching design studios and other courses within the faculty member's area of expertise normally to undergraduate students but other opportunities are available for interaction with graduate students. Minimum qualifications:  master's degree or higher in planning or closely related field; university teaching experience with undergraduate students, part or full time. Preferred qualifications:  ABD or Ph.D. in planning; studio teaching experience; professional practice.

The department has accredited graduate and undergraduate degrees in as well as being one of three departments in the College of Architecture and Planning.  There are 9 faculty members in the department with about 60 undergraduate students and 38 graduate students.  Faculty members contribute to teaching the common first-year program in the college.
