2014 Final Paper Submission

Please SUBMIT YOUR FINAL CONFERENCE PAPER TO papersubmission@comcast.net NO LATER THAN 5 P.M. EST ON October 15. Doing this will ensure that the 2014 Conference Program indicates that your paper is available to conference attendees upon request.

Email subject line:  Final Paper/Abstract Index#: _ _ _ / Presenting Author's Last Name

  • The Abstract Index # for every paper can be found in the final conference program just above the paper title.
  • Requests to read a paper should also be sent to papersubmission@comcast.net. Remember the ACSP office is closed the entire week after the annual conference.
  • DO NOT send PowerPoint presentation files.
  • DO NOT send your final paper if it isn't really, really final. We can't promise the wrong version won't be shared.

Please send your paper to this email address IN ADDITION to sending it to your discussant. Those of you in paper sessions without discussants need only send your paper to ACSP, but may wish to send it to your fellow session participants as well. Participant email address can be found in the conference program.

If you are unable to make the October 15 deadline, please do finish your paper in advance of the conference. You can of course still present that paper in Philadelphia. It just won't be noted in the conference program as having been finished prior to 10/15. Papers delivered after 10/15 will be noted in the Last Minute Changes to the Program document always distributed at conference registration. We will not accept final papers after the conference.

This new element of the annual conference is in response to considerable concern expressed in recent years about papers being submitted extremely late or not at all. I think we'd all agree that paper sessions are much stronger when they are supported by full papers, even when those papers are perhaps still works in progress. October 15 is the last date by which changes can be made to the program, which then goes out for printing.

Guidelines, Instructions and Policies for Abstracts, Papers and Sessions

Submitting an Abstract

Abstract Submissions for the 2014 Annual Conference will open in January, 2014.

  1. For those who submitted an abstract last year, you can enter the system using the same log-in information. We recommend all individuals who will be connected to an abstract in any capacity create an account in the system very early in the submission season.
  2. Be advised, with this system once you have completed the payment process you will NO LONGER be able to edit your abstract. You can return to it at any time, but editing access will be locked after payment. You can always leave your abstract in draft as necessary by simply logging out at any step in the process.
  3. The process of submitting a pre-organized session is different than in the past. Instructions can be found via the link below. Please review them prior to accessing the system.
