Gill-Chin Lim Travel Award

The ACSP Global Planning Educators Interest Group (GPEIG) will support student travel to the upcoming ACSP Annual Conference in Houston, TX, October 22-25, 2015. The grantees will receive their award checks after arrival at the Conference.

Award: $250 USD

To be eligible, applicants must meet all the following criteria: (1) must be a graduate planning student enrolled at an ACSP member school during the 2014-15 academic year; (2) must be presenting papers at the conference with a focus on an international development/global planning topic or with a special focus on low-income countries of the global south; and (3) must be traveling more than 100 miles to the conference.

The application must be sent electronically and must include:

  • Completed application form
  • An up-to-date, one-page vita that includes the student’s research interests, projects, and previous papers presented and/or published.
  • Abstract (250 words maximum) of the accepted paper to be presented at the ACSP Annual Conference.
