Gill-Chin Lim Travel Award

The ACSP Global Planning Educators Interest Group (GPEIG) will support student travel to the upcoming AESOP-ACSP Joint Congress in Dublin, Ireland, July 15-19 2013. The grantees will receive their award checks after arrival at the Congress.

Award: $500 USD

Only graduate planning students enrolled at an ACSP member school during the 2012-2013 year; presenting papers at the conference with a focus on an international development/global planning topic, with a special focus on low-income countries of the global south, and traveling more than 100 miles are eligible to apply.

The application must be sent electronically and must include:

  • Completed application form
  • An up-to-date one-page vita that includes the student’s research interests, projects, and previous papers presented and/or published.
  • Abstract (250 words maximum) of the paper to be presented at the AESOP-ACSP Joint Congress.
